How did you get started in Crown Vic racing?

A local to us track announced they were reopening under new management and running the class after being shut down for a couple years. Had a car given to me and my team mate a couple weeks before the 2025 season kicked off.

Why did you choose Crown Vic racing?

I’ve been in multiple different forms of racing throughout my life. Karts, motocross, atv motocross, dirt oval, road course, he’ll even raced 3 wheelers on dirt oval. I chose to stick with crown Vic’s for the simple reason that they are cheap, easy to build and the cars are extremely durable. The 06 that I ran last season had 239k miles on it before it hit the track and is still running after burning beat on since. These are the first fords I’ve ever owned and it’s got me thinking a bit differently about the brand.

Racing experience and biggest highlight

As stated before I’ve been racing something for the past 25 year or so. Biggest highlights are probably winning the points last season at The Ararat bullring and beating on of the crown Vic goats July 4th 2025 for 1k to win. Pretty proud of those.

Toughest track and why

Back in 02 I ran mini stocks at a 3/8 mile oval in south Florida called thundercross motorsports park. The track was always rough and had tons of character.

People who helped your racing journey

First off My dad. Former boss and friend Paul Ripa let me run one of his old cars for my first ride. My wife for letting me spend time at the track and in the garage working on my piles, and last but not least my buddy and team mate Michael Whitlock.

Fun fact fans might not know

We do this for fun, win lose or draw as long as I get to drive it back on the trailer that is a good night. I try and drive people the way I want to be driven but if need be I’ll wad one up.

Goals for the season

Have fun and keep a car running, race when my funds will allow it.
