Submission by William Avila for Quick and easy fan direct wiring. Step 1 order the relay Step 2 find the Wiper motor plug and cut the green wire discard the rest Step 3 mount relay on middle of firewall as shown Step 4 run a 6g wire from positive lug on fuse box or from alt to bottom large lug on relay Step 4 run 6g wire from top large lug to + on fan (I use wire nuts or a 6g crimp connector and heatshrink) Step 5 run ground from Dr head to - on fan Step 6 run the green wire you cut from Wiper harness to small terminal on relay closest to Dr side Step 7 run a ground from chassis to remaining small terminal on relay. Your done. Key on fan runs high. If fan don't run check your Wiper fuse in fuse box inside the car. Check your grounds Check all connections. You will never have another fan issue again.(given the fans good) This bypasses the relay on the fan shroud you will cut the fan plug off and connect on fan side of factory relay.
